Sod Reesing has always been a favorite of this site's.  After all, how can you not love a rival QB who graced the world with the following photos?

I mean, how could you not love a wine-chugging, dog-eating, visor-wearing dude who hangs out with girls(?) like the one above?

Oh, and the photo collection couldn't be complete without this one...

Anyway, Sod's latest is just too good to pass up.  He's authored a book about his time at kU titled, Rising to New Heights. Of course, I assume he's referencing kU's fluke '07 season where they went 12-1 and won the Orange Bowl.

Never mind the fact kU went 1-1 against ranked teams that year.  Never mind the fact Sod was 1-2 as a starter against Missouri.  Never mind the fact Sod ended his career by losing the last seven games he played.  Never mind the fact he was 14-13 in his last 27 games as a starter.  Never mind the fact that in his senior season kU didn't make a bowl game.  Never mind the fact Sod was never even the highest rated passer in the Big 12 North.  Never mind the fact he was benched during his senior season.  Never mind the fact kU never won their own division during Sod's tenure.

Can't wait to read all about the new heights.  The book will debut at the beginning of this year's football season.

Why the hell did a publisher even give this kid the time of day? What a joke. What's he gonna talk about? How he failed and missed almost every opportunity thrown his way during the best years of his life. What a great read, gotta make sure to pick that one up…
