These Eagles cheerleaders are happy to see you join the team.

The Eagles have signed recently released TE Martin Rucker to their practice squad joining Jeremy Maclin on a potent Philadelphia offense. Yeah, I know, it's the practice squad so he's not officially on the team but while Brent Celek is a pretty decent TE, I can definitely see Rucker competing for the backup job with Alex Smith.

Good news for Rucker that for the moment at least he's wound up on a high profile team that throws the ball a lot. I'd imagine that on the practice squad he's just an injury away from huddling up with Maclin again.

On a semi-related note I didn't realize that Chase Daniel was on the Saints practice squad until last week. Maybe I was the last person to hear about it. Seems like a good fit since he's sort of cut from the Drew Brees mold.

The great thing about Daniel being on the PS for the 'aints is that their backup is Mark Brunnel. Dude could hurt himself getting off the bench, literally.
