How awesome is this video? I mean, seriously. And the fact that it has to be salt in Huskers' fans wounds is only one of the reasons I'm posting it. This captures college football at its absolute best.

But lets face it, what makes this video an instant classic is this:

"I couldn't be prouder. I could not be prouder. No, I am SO PROUD! I AM SO PROUD, LISTEN TO ME LISTEN TO ME, I AM SO PROUD TO BE YOUR FOOTBALL COACH!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"

Imagine my conflict...I'm an Iowa State grad. But grew up in Nebraska a die hard Husker fan. I want to puke and celebrate at the same time.

@Bump- I was fairly surprised by the amount of Omahans that head to ISU. We had a few of our better interns come out of Ames, and I have some good friends from Omaha that went to ISU. A lot of KC'ers go to Ames too. I guess since Ames is secluded enough, yet not a terrible drive from home, it's a good call. Actually, I know more people from outside of Iowa that went to ISU than I do Iowans. And just wait until Western Illinois invades Faurot for that big matchup in '11. IT. IS. ON. Or probably not.
Nooo! Not the salt!

As a Nebraska fan, I have to say it's on the contrary. We flat out lost badly, and they won. Congrats and major props to Iowa State. They have a great coach who cares about his team. I think Auburn got the worse deal.

Maybe Pinkel could learn something about actually not being afraid to pull injured players and letting them heal.

@Davereid20: It was crazy to see that amount of turnovers, and ISU not capitalize on them, EVER. They relied on their D late, and somehow came through. It was easily the most exciting non-scoring game I've seen in a long time.

The end, when he gets the water poured on him, is great!
