The Detroit Lions released William Franklin today ending my dream of an all Mizzou wide out tandem in the NFL.
If Franklin lands anywhere else my guess is that it'll be St. Louis who apparently were one of four teams to put in a waiver claim for Franklin before he was signed by Detroit and the Rams waited until the fifth round to select a wide receiver in this year's draft. It would definitely be cool to see Franklin playing for his hometown team and hopefully he can turn this into a solid career for the Rams.
