Slow week in Mizzou football so far. There’s not a lot of info out on our next opponent. Honestly, here’s what I know:

-Looking at a map, Western Michigan is located on the left hand part of the state in Kalamazoo.
-They are a good team for their conference, and won the West division of the Mid-American Conference last year (8-5 overall). Their coach is Bill Cubit, who was a coach on Larry Smith's staff in 2000 (OC/QB Coach). The MAC has taken it in the poop chute this year, except for beating Iowa State Teacher's Institute of the Retarded (Kent State). Last week, Northern Illinois, who always seems to be in contention, dropped to oh-and-two after losing to SIU from the FCS' Gateway Conference.
-The Broncos hit Columbia down Love-two to West ‘F-ing’ Virginia and Indiana. And speaking of West Virginia gives me a chance to show off my favorite picture.

-They did play in a bowl after the Rose Bowl. Ok, so it was the bastard child of bowls not even played inside our borders (the International Bowl). But it was played on a 100 yard field, not 120 like the rest of those Canucks play on. Damn you CFL.

-They have some nasty unis
-Their QB is a stud (Tim Hiller). Their tailback is good (Brandon West). Hiller has a chance to be the next big name MAC quarterback. If the secondary can hold, Mizzou will romp. Offense averages 25.5 pts/game.
-Their defense blows. Chase Daniel will explode again, and everyone should have a pretty good game. Look for 350+ yards from Chase, and lots of passes going for TDs. T-Squared should do pretty well too. Western Michigan’s front couldn’t stop Christopher Reeves from running for 100+. Defense has given up an average of 49.5 pts/game. That's including Indi-freakin-ana.
Prediction: Mizzou 42, WMU 14. WMU shouldn't be much to worry about. Chase Daniel will have lots o' receivers to toss the ball to, and T-Squared will have a huge game. It could be uglier. Like Stevie Wonder running hurdles ugly.
