Coach Mike Anderson bids adieu to the jawless wonder known as Stefhon Hannah (artist rendering to the right). Hannah was officially dismissed from the team this afternoon after getting his face bashed worse than the dude that got curb stomped in American History X. CMA issued a rule on nightclubs and five Tigers disobeyed, including Jason Horton, who could face being booted from the squad as well after being arrested after the fight.Hannah was dismissed because of academic qualifications, which basically boiled down to him having to drop classes to lick his wounds in his hometown of Chicago. Hannah wouldn't make the grades for the semester, and would have cost the Tigers a scholarship and some points against the NCAA GPA pool.
Ironically, the decision was made one day before the Tigers play Nebraska. Hannah and the rest of the Aethena five were suspended for the Husker game in Columbia.
