Not get my red Sharpie out and douse an article, but AP Sports Writer John Marshall laid a big one in his kU/Oklahoma preview."Even when it started winning last year, Kansas proudly wore the underdog tag, earning begrudging respect on the way to a 12-1 season and a Big 12 North title."
Not that I'm into fact checking and all that BS (I usually leave it to Mizzourah Ombudsmen/Commenter Dave MacD), but then again, I've made dick off this website and have a real job other than being an uber-dork that has a website dedicated to chicks and Mizzou athletics. I'm not a writer for the Associated Press, one of the more respected and syndicated print/web scribes in the United States.
36-28, Mr. Marshall. If you were at Camerohead, you would have seen that. If you were in San Antonio the week after, for the Big 12 Championship game, pitting the Big 12 South Champion against THE BIG 12 NORTH CHAMPION, you would have somehow missed the blue mythical birds playing football. Competing for the Big 12 North title would have been correct. Orange Bowl Champions? Yes. Winning the Big 12 North? Nada.
Thanks for your time Mizzourah readers, and get back to figuring out somehow to hate Texas.
Props to Mizzourah reader, Brian, for throwing this article our way.
