Any idea whose radio show is captured in this relatively disturbing image? Yep. You guessed it. That'd be our old pal, Chad Dukes. I'll resist making a plethora of immature gay jokes about this pic and just update you on the most recent developments in the Dukes Twitter saga.
It all began right here, when Dukes launched a pointless and pathetic attack on Chase Daniel in what appeared to be a poor attempt to get him to come on his radio show (which I'm sure could probably use the ratings boost). Among other things, Dukes messaged Around the Horn to try to get his Twitter war on ESPN (shockingly they didn't get back to him) and linked to every article mentioning his kUchebag-like shenanigans. Unfortunately, most people don't give a shit about this asshat so most people read about the Daniel-Dukes feud, thought to themselves "Man that Chad Dukes is some pice of shit," and went on with their lives and will likely never think of Dukes again.
But someone needed to defend No. 10's honor. This is the guy who led our Tigers to national prominence, taking Mizzou to a No. 1 ranking and breaking literally every meaningful passing record in the books. We weren't about to let Dukes get away with this. Not on our watch.
So the past couple weeks I have been commanding the "Chase Daniel Army" (as Dukes referred to us) and sending multiple messages to Dukes a day via Twitter. My messages generally involved me informing Dukes that he sucks and challenging him to offer up a defense for himself in the whole Twittergate fiasco. (Much like he did to Chase.)
But Dukes, like the spineless tool that he is, failed to take us up on the challenge. And less than a day after posting yet another link about himself, Dukes blocked Mizzourah from following him on Twitter.
In my mind, this signals that Dukes is throwing up the white flag. He's had enough. No mas. All we wanted all along was to either hear Dukes' side of the story (which he failed to give us) or annoy him enough that he finally blocks us. And so the Mizzourah Chad Dukes Twitter Assault comes to an end. Mizzourah 1 Chad Dukes 0.
Victory Whiskey for everyone.
