First off, we're getting lots of new readers every day. I've seen our hits going through the roof, we were on Deadspin and CFB Weekly, and we have new readers leaving comments. So to you, welcome. One article that we wrote that gave us some notoriety was our Big 12 Teams as Punch-Out Characters. Enjoy, and stay around.

With the housekeeping done, lets talk Heisman. I've mentioned that my top five would be, in no particular order; Darren McFadden, Steve Slaton, Chase Daniel, Tim Tebow, and Todd Reesing. Each of them has pros and cons to their legitimacy.

Darren McFadden
Pros: Finalist last year. Several highlight plays for Arkansas. Dual threat at running back and has thrown TDs. Dresses like Fred Flinstone for Halloween.
Cons: Very hot/cold. Not consistent. Arkansas finished in the middle of the SEC pack.

Steve Slaton
Pros: Exciting player. Led West Virginia to BCS bowl. Featured player in explosive offense.
Cons: May split votes with QB Pat White. Injury prone, and seems to get lost in big games.

Chase Daniel
Pros: Team atop poll. Consistently throws for 300+ yards and multiple TDs. Mizzou the only team to score 30+ in each game this season.
Cons: Plays in Midwest school that has lacked prestige in past. Nationwide, not a lot of hype before season.

Todd Reesing
Pros: Consistent QB. Led Kansas to #2 ranking and undefeated until final regular season game. Rarely made mistakes.
Cons: Lack of national exposure (killed by Mizzou in hyped game). Sophomore. No hype before season. Likes to take red turf from endzone in his facemask. See cons on Chase Daniel.

Tim Tebow
Pros: 20+ rushing TDs, 20+ passing TDs. Hyped. National exposure. Only offensive threat not named "Percy Harvin". Defending National Champs.
Cons: Team did not reach SEC Championship game. Florida has been out of the national title hunt for awhile. Stats inflated because he is the only option in the backfield.

The only way this thing will work out no problem is Chase Daniel and Mizzou beats Oklahoma on Saturday to win the Big 12 title game and go to the BCS Championship game, he wins the Heisman. If Missouri trips over Oklahoma, Tebow will win. He has the writers and voters in his back pocket. Is Tebow the most deserving? No. The most over-hyped? Yes. He is the safe choice for anyone that watches only 10 minutes of college football a week would pick. He is always featured on SportsCenter, and CBS hangs around Gainsville like an unwanted bar chick the next morning. If anyone has actually seen the other candidates (all in the Midwest), Tebow would finish 5th out of these five that I have posed to you.
