It's official: HCGP=MIZZOU COACH 4 LIFE. The specifics of the deal aren't yet known but the deal will make GP one of the highest paid coaches in college football and "will include a sizable raise for an annual salary of approximately $2.5 million."
Maybe now those of who bashed Pinkel for not ending the Washington speculation by stating his allegiance to Mizzou will understand why that wouldn't have been a smart move for Gary to make. The fact that Mangino was making more money than Gary Pinkel was a joke. As HCGP has said before when it comes to money, it's not really about the money. It's about getting what you're worth. And HCGP has proven he's worth more than Jabba the Mangino.
So go out and have a round of drinks. I hear Pinkel's picking up the tab.
