If you had dreamed of seeing Roger Goodell pose with Jeremy Maclin while holding a jersey of your favorite NFL team on draft day then you're going to be disappointed.
J-Mac will not be in NYC on April 25 because he was not one of the 10 or so players the NFL invited to attend the draft. I guess it is actually possible that Maclin received an invite but declined because he would rather watch the draft with his close friends and family. If that's the case then more power to him. Otherwise, screw you Goodell!
I guess I didn't realize the NFL sent out so few invitations (doesn't the NBA invite every potential draftee AND their posses?).
Big 12 players that have confirmed that they will be in attendance include: Texas Tech's Michael Crabtree, Texas' Brian Orakpo, Baylor's Jason Smith and Kansas State's Josh Freeman. That's right, Josh Freeman. Go wipe the vomit off your shirt.
