DT/DE Ziggy Hood, Steelers, No. 96 for the Steelers.
S William Moore, Falcons, No. 24
WR Jeremy Maclin, Eagles, No. 18
LB Brock Christopher, Falcons, No. 49
QB Chase Daniel, Redskins, No. 10
OL Colin Brown, Chiefs, No. 61
No listing from the Bengals yet as to what number Chase Coffman will wear, nor from the Raiders for Stryker Sulak.
Moore wanted to wear No. 25 to honor Aaron O'Neal but the number was already taken so Willy-Mo's got No. 24 for now. Maclin doubled his No. 9 to be legal in the NFL. Hood jumped up two numbers. Christopher flipped his number which is interesting because he picked a number that isn't legal for a linebacker to wear in the NFL. I suppose they'll just wait and see if he makes the official roster before giving him a legal number as the numbers don't have to be right in the preseason which is why duplicate numbers are allowed. Daniel and Brown get to keep their numbers.
Coffman will have to switch to a number between 80-89. My guess is that he'll pick No. 84 to honor his father who wore No. 84 for the Chiefs... I think. I'm not sure and I can't find the answer to it but according to Wikipedia (and Wikipedia is never wrong) he wore No. 84 at some point in his career and I know it wasn't for the Packers. I have no idea what number Sulak will wear, he's got a lot of options between 60-79 and 90-99. The double his college number won't work, though, as Robert Gallery is currently wearing No. 76.
I know I can't wait to get my very own No. 96 Ziggy Hood jersey.
