Alright, with that being said, tomorrow is exhibition game #2, with the Tigers pitted against the Missouri Western Griffins. I'm just saying my prayers tonight that we dont join the likes of Michigan St and Ohio St by dropping one of these ---looks just like a big 10 thing though. Hopefully we take advantage of this final chance to fine-tune before the CBE Classic. It's hard to get too excited for tomorrow night's game, but there are several things I'm interested in checking out:
1) Marshall Brown - I'm remaining optimistic on Brown this year and for whatever reason I still think he can be a hell of a player. Let's see if he can assert
himself on the offensive end rather than continue a trend of passive play. After seeing what he did in the Texas and K-state games last year, he has obvious talent, but if you watched the rest of 'em you've got yourself a nice bald spot from scratching your head. Maybe bein a senior will do the trick. Then again, maybe he just needs to regrow the fro.2) Maybe tomorrow we get a sneak peek of what the starting 5 look like come Monday.
3) I wanna see Keon Lawrence look like what I've been hearing about. Not saying at all that he doesn't look like one of our best, but he's healthy now and there's a lot of hype here KLaw. When Carroll, KLaw, and Hannah are out there...keep your eyes open cuz it's gonna be fun to watch.
4) I wanna see a dunk or two tonight straight out of NBA Jam. But don't expect MWSU to keep it close like the damn computer in that game always does.
(Can't remember a dunk last game and usually these exhibitions are a good opportunity). Not a big deal if we don't but who doesn't like a dunk??I think I'm gonna go ahead and give a prediction for each game and why not start with an easy one: MU: 89 MWSU: 60
