This game wasn't pretty. Actually, it was about as ugly as the girl you rolled over to Saturday morning. It was still a win and at 40-26, we're still throwing points on the board. Let's put more Victory Whiskey on Franchione's tab before he doesn't have a job! Texas Ass & Mule will be on the coaching search soon. On to the game...

-Chase Daniel had a pedestrian 352 yards and 3 TDs. Watching him progress, it's sickening to think this is almost an average game from him. Oh, and props to Rock M Nation for throwing this out there, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Mizzou will pimp Chase for the Heisman. About time!

-This Maclin guy may just be ok. Sweet tap dancing Christ! Two touchdowns, and one being a 10 yard pass in the flats that he tightroped 72 more yards for paydirt. When is this guy going to have a nickname?

-Good thing Franchione has no clue how to run an offense. Mike Goodson runs like Reggie Bush and Jorvorskie Lane is like tackling a washing machine. With those two options, Franchione decided to run QB options and just have Stephen McGee get blown up. By the way, don't cheap shot the runner. Looking at you Del Howard.

-Shakespeare's Pizza Playa of the Game has to be a senior on Senior Day right? It's gotta be Tony Temple. It must have been Easter because he was raised from the dead. The 44 yard touchdown romp was one of the sweetest plays of the year, and he continued on for 141 yds on 22 carries. If you do the math (put your shoes back on The Boy. I know you're from Oklahoma, but wow!), T-Squared went for 6.4yds a carry. We'll need him to continue that for the rest of the season. Jimmy Jackson and Derrick Washington also looked very good. It's up to Tony if he's going to share pizza with the fatties up front blocking for him.

So the Tigers move to the penthouse known as 9-1, which is the first time we've hit nine wins since....you've heard it before, 1969. Mizzou has a good chance at 10-1 going to Manhattan to take on the Mildcats that got raped by Nebraska and Iowa State in the past two weeks.
