Someone called Martin Zeno scored 33 points (he shot 24 free throws), leading Texas Tech past Mizzou 92-84 in Lubbock on Wednesday. Recap.

This is getting very repetitive. MU once again teased its fans, briefly taking a lead at the end of the first half and the beginning of the second half. But these poor guys just aren't very good or disciplined.

Texas Tech shot 50 free throws. Missouri shot 15.

Ricky Shroder's twin brother burned the Tigers for 13 points. Oddly, TT's bench went scoreless.

It appeared as though TT might blow out its visitor midway through the first half. But Mike Anderson uncaged The Justin Safford Experiment. Safford entered with 7:30 left in the first half and the Tigers down 27-20. Four minutes later Mizzou was up 31-29. They kept it semi-competitive the rest of the way. Keon, he of the various pouting faces (see below for one), tried to keep the team alive with his 24 points.

Ultimately, this team will be utterly forgotten by history. Now it's just playing out the string. Seniors Hannah, Butterfield, Brown, Horton and Volkus will soon be gone. After that a few others will fade away. Better days will hopefully follow these not so loveable losers.

Remember, fans, while it's tough to be a Tiger fan sometimes it could always be worse. Free Lil Wayne!
