Hey gang, welcome to the Mizzou hoops live blog, Zero Tolerance edition. The game, as you all know, will not be televised live. So we're listening to the radio and sharing some reaction with you.
Couple of pre-game thoughts:
6:30 p.m. The pregame introduction featured highlights of, in order, Jason Horton, Leo Lyons and Marshall Brown, three of the five suspended Tigers.
6:32 p.m. Gary Link just said Nebraska is winless on the road this season. Link thinks Mike Anderson made the right decision suspending the players. We'll be playing a lot of 2-3 zone tonight. Link: "We will not get tired."
6:40 p.m. Assistant Matt Zimmerman gives the Nebraska scouting report. He talks pretty fast. You can almost hear him sweat through the radio speakers. He's intense and has the Southern drawl that makes him sound like an SEC football coach. Funny quote: "Nebraska will block your butt out."
6:45 p.m. Mike Anderson is interviewed by Mike Kelly. Anderson: "The guys broke some team rules and are paying the penalty. We're building a program and want it to be first class, fun, fast and exciting. Kids who do the right thing on and off the court." He told the eight players playing tonight to "Go leave it on the floor and have some fun."
6:47 p.m. Starting lineup will be Ebony and Ivory Lawrence, DeMarre Carroll, JT Tiller and V. Volkus.
