7:11 p.m. Link: "MU 1-6 shooting to start game". Maric is having his way with two hoops already. 6-2 Neb.

7:13 p.m. In Manhattan, Kansas State leads Kansas 9-5 with 17 min. left in the first half. Bramledge is rocking. Dominique Sutton just swatted Russell Robinson (aka The New York Alien) off the backboard.
7:17 p.m. Simultaneously Matt Lawrence makes a three for MU to cut NU's lead to 12-8 and Bill Walker has a monster dunk for KSU to give them an 11-5 lead.

Gotta love Michael Beasley. KSU leads 14-11 with 13 min left first half.7:24 p.m. Tiller with a lay-up. 8 points for J.T. already. Neb. answers right back. 17-14 NU.
7:29 p.m. Sounds like Mizzou's getting a lot of loose balls/offensive rebounds. Still, Maric and the NU shooters have them in a 23-16 hole at the under eight minute time-out.
7:32 p.m. 28-22 KSU 9:25 left in the first half. Sasha Kaun always looks scared and winded.

7:37 p.m. Crowd loud for the first time tonight.
7:39 p.m. Maric offensive rebound put back. He's a load tonight for us.
7:40 p.m. 29-23 NU 3 min. left in the half. Mike Kelly pump faked us with a "block on Nebraska, nope charge on Tiller" call. You can count on at least two of those a game. And many more in football. "It's a gain of six for the Tigers that will bring up second and eight". Huh?
7:41 p.m. Mike Kelly just mentioned the Cotton Bowl tribute (that's 2 football references so far).
7:42 p.m. The ref in the KSU game just about tore an ACL calling a charge on Kansas. KU is swarming Beasley. They do not want him to beat them. Chalmers 3-pointer gives KU tie. KSU answers right back to lead 31-29 with 5:23 left first half.
7:43 p.m. Sounds like the first pout of the game for Ebony Lawrence.
7:44 p.m. Ivory Lawrence steps in front of Marics and takes a charge. Brave man.
7:46 p.m. Marics has a double double, 11 pts. 10 rebs. He also has two fouls and is replaced by a man called Shang Ping.
7:46 p.m. Beasley nails a three and KSU leads 36-31 with 3:50 remaining first half.
7:49 p.m. Shang Ping fould DeMarre. One-for-two. Volkus offensive rebound and subsequent layup. MU is hanging around. Down only two with 12 seconds left in the half. Time-out Nubs.
7:51 p.m. Kelly: "Announce attendance just over 8,000".
7:51 p.m. Airball NU to end the half. MU trails 32-30 at the half. Tigers closed half on an 8-0 run. Link: "Missouri played well, controlled tempo of the game".
