After coming back to score two runs in the top of the 8th, Kyle Gibson came in an served up a Grand Slam to Ole Miss, and that's all she wrote. The Tigers were done in by Logan Power, who made his only hit of the game count.

That's what I get for opening my mouth. I have nothing to say except "I'm sorry" for pissing off Logan Power. He still sounds like a good fit for my softball team. It probably didn't help that Mizzou struck out 18 times (!), so I won't take all the blame.

Box score here.

Season over kids, it was a nice run out of the gate, but going 16-11 vs. the Big XII showed the Tigers weren't ready to make a trip to Big Head country. Still a lot to look forward to for next year, especially since Kyle Gibson will go back to starting games.

Aaron Crow takes a step closer to being rich this Thursday, so any last-minute jersey chasers out there, get to huntin' (be sure to report your progress to us). Check back in a day or two as we'll begin the Crow watch, and see where he may land in this week's MLB Draft.
