t's a done deal, with the announcement coming at 2:30 p.m. by Cleveland.
Look for Coach Dave Steckel to be the new DC and Barry Odom to be promoted to a defensive position. Not sure how long it will take before this is announced. Odum to coach safeties, Mike Jones to coach linebackers
Jack. Pot. Mike Jones (Who?!) is a great pick up as I've pimped before as an LB coach. He was head coach at Hazelwood Directional High School, where HMW roamed the halls picking up broads on a daily basis by flexing 'guns'. Or not. Either way, I wouldn't be surprised if Jones becomes that exclusive 'Coach in waiting' at some point. Of course, Pinkel has 10-15yrs left in the tank, so maybe not for awhile.
Oh, and it's this Mike Jones.
Sidebar- Someone really suggested in the Mizzourah inbox that we should hire Kevin Cosgrove. My reply: 'HAHAHAHA'. At least Bump and Husker Engineer will have a horse to root for in the poll question.
