Former Mizzou baseballer and current Texas Rangers second baseman Ian Kinsler hit for the cycle tonight against the Baltimore Orioles. Kinsler went 6-for-6 with four RBIs and scored five runs in the Rangers 19-6 victory over the O's. He also joins the likes of Rondell White and and Bobby Veach by being only the third player in MLB history to have six hits in a game while also hitting for the cycle.

So far this season Kinsler is batting .474 with three homeruns and 13 RBIs. My roommate Tito and I are touting Kinsler as an early sleeper for American League MVP.
