Could Jeremy Maclin be joining the dark side? Mel Kiper Jr. thinks so. In his most recent mock draft, Kiper has Maclin going to the Oakland Raiders who hold the No. 7 pick. I'll admit, Maclin would look good in those black and silver jerseys (what player other than Sebastian Janikowski doesn't?) but I would hate to see him become a Raider. As a Chiefs fan, I'm not sure I could bring myself to root for him.
But then again, I know that as long as Al Davis is still alive and still has something to do with how the team is ran I won't have to ever worry about the Raiders winning more than seven games. He proves my long held theory that extraterrestrials are not capable of running successful NFL franchises.
