Gary Pinkel’s Halloween costume might as well be Dog the Bounty Hunter and Mike Alden can go as Beth, Dog’s big boobed bitch. Mack Brown has also played bondsman and actually keeps office time at the jail as the Longhorns have had ten (10!!!!) players dumped in county since the middle of June. In fact, Mack Brown has a punch card at the jail.
In the past week though, three Tigers have gotten rap sheets for various happenings. John Stull punched some dude at Gaucho’s restaurant, Steve Redmond had a kickass party (where was my invite?), and now Gilbert Moye, one of the top recruits from our ’07 class punched his roomie in the jaw. Nothing credit card related (looking at you Dominque Douglas), no murder charges, just blows and booze. Nothing deathly serious, but the problem lies in the fact that two of these three d-bags will be major players on the Tiger squads in the coming years. Stull’s is the most disturbing of the bunch since his fist met face after arguing over money with some guy in the middle of a restaurant. Not a reason to kick him off the squad, but keep an eye on it.
And with history of Ricky Clemons behind the university, here’s to Gary Pinkel cleaning house before he gets Quin Snydered out of his job for not buckling down on players.
