Working in the media, even the media bugs me. I realize that we are here to entertain for the most part, and sometimes we have to take stands that we don't really believe 100% in just to stir the pot. Skip Bayless from ESPN First Take is the greatest example of being a dick and not believing in what he throws out there. With that being said, do people really think the Tigers don't have a chance to win on Saturday?

Oklahoma has perennially been close to the top of the Big 12 South for the past eight years. Last time I checked, those players aren't around anymore. Mizzou has annually been in the middle of the pack in the B12 North, so they are obviously a surprise team atop the BCS. It's not that big of a surprise that Missouri won the B12 North, but the fact that they are ahead of Oklahoma, Florida, LSU, and Ohio State freaks people out. Much of the media is up for taking the comfortable pick, which would be the ghosts of the past in Oklahoma.

I'm still not understanding why people are hating Mizzou and taking Oklahoma hands down in this one...

-Sam Bradford is a freshman QB that, lets face it, isn't good on the road.

-This will be the third big game that Mizzou has played at a neutral site this season (Kansas, Illinois). Record in those? 2-0.

-Chase Daniel is on fire since the Oklahoma game.

-Demarco Murray is done for the season.

-Oklahoma is missing three of their defensive ends, including Austin English, who scortched Mizzou in Norman.

-In Norman, Mizzou had the lead in the 4th and squandered chances to put the game away.

-Sam Bradford is coming off a concussion against Texas Tech two weeks earlier.

-In their last game against a good spread offense (Tech), Oklahoma got beat up worse than Scut Farkus did in The Christmas Story.

This will be a great game. Oklahoma is a great team, but losing to them was the best thing that happened to Mizzou. The Sooners could come in a little over confident since they beat the Tigers earlier, and Mizzou is overcome their only loss. Look for revenge!

This week is worse than last; we don't have Thanksgiving to kill time before the game!
