ESPN is reporting that the Jaguars are close to signing former Rams Pro Bowl wide receiver Torry Holt. You may be wondering why in the hell I'm mentioning this on an all Mizzou blog, well, let me make it simple for you. The Jags were a favorite to pick Maclin with the ninth overall pick and that just isn't going to happen with them picking up Holt. So unless Maclin goes to the Raiders with the eighth, he might fall quite a bit on a draft day. How insane would it be if the number two wide receiver in the draft in a fairly strong wide out class fell all the way to the end of the first round? I have a feeling that there will be a GM out there that won't pass up on a steal if Maclin falls to the mid first round. I'm still positive he'll get drafted higher than Josh Freeman. Someone explain to me again why Freeman is getting invited to New York? I'd almost feel sorry for the guy if he wasn't about to make millions of dollars.
