Just when it seemed like Mizzou's basketball team may have turned a corner with a win at Colorado in a close game, they hit another roadblock. Stefhon Hannah has apparently been hospitalized with a broken jaw after a night at a Columbia bar...the same place DeMarre was nearly struck by a bullet over the summer. Supposedly, the doc says 4-6 weeks before he can play again, but CMA instituted a no tolerance policy right (see Kalen Grimes) and we may not see Hannah in black and gold again. It's still fuzzy right now as to why or how Hannah received the broken jaw, but Butterfield was right there with him (no reported injuries for him though).

We'll see how Mike Anderson handles this situation, but I almost feel bad for him. He's not their mother or babysitter and it's pretty much out of his control to stop college kids from putting themselves in bad positions on their free time. Anderson is probably considering going into Law Enforcement since he has to deal with it every other week.

It's time for baby Keon to become a man and earn his stripes here in Columbia, something I didn't think would happen until next season.

Best wishes go out to Mr. Hannah for a speedy recovery. I did not intend to insult Hannah or imply that what happened to him was at all his fault if I did. Just seems like this kind of story is becoming a trend for this team.
