DeMarre Carroll gets drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies with the 27th pick of the first round. My pessimism was getting the best of me as I even tweeted "DeMarre Carroll going in the first round looking less and less likely." mere seconds before he was drafted over the Pittsburgh forward tandem of DeJuan Blair (who made No. 2 overall pick Hasheem Thabeet and new teammate to Carroll his bitch) and Sam Young. Unbelievable.
Congratulations DeMarre! We love you, man! You're next Leo!
