Take out a letter or two in the title and I could go either way. I'm sorry Mizzou Nation. Damn, I should be happy...my WIU Leathernecks won (class of '04). Their biggest victory in the Stan Hyman era (he hee, I said hyman) of WIU baseball. Easily the greatest coach in Western's unglamorous baseball history. Even beats us smoking K-State a few years ago. Hell, the team we beat is ranked 4th by Baseball America!!!

On the flip side, Mizzou took the brunt of losing to a shittified 4-14 team. Mizzou lost 5-3 to a team that followed up such a big win with a shutout of powerhouse Robert Morris 5-0. Granted, the Leathernecks, aka 'Fightin Big Heads' did beat then #7 Long Beach State earlier this season for one of those four other wins. It was the third straight loss for the Tigers, and really, Mizzou wasn't ever in this game.

I would just like to say Sorry. Good news is while Nebraska may be laughing a bit now...they have WIU coming up on the schedule, and the Leathernecks have a planned ass pounding to dish out in Stillwater for a three-set. Don't sleep on WIU in the Summit League!

The photo atop this post can either be taken as "I'm so shameful that I can't show my face" or "I was so wasted at the Red Shed in Madison, Wisconsin before the WIU/Wisky game at 9a that I may have just dry heaved...oh you have a long islands for a buck? I'll take five more". I'd go with the latter, but it's up to you.
