Remember earlier this year when the Tigers completely mopped the floor with the Cal Golden Bears? After crushing them by nearly 30 points in a game that wasn't really even that close nearly all the national media and even some Tiger fans sort of dismissed the victory assuming that Cal must really blow. Sure it was a solid victory but surely Cal couldn't be an NCAA Tournament team after that kind of performance.

Well it's been nearly a month since that day and Cal hasn't lost since, rattling off eight straight victories in the process. They're sitting at 14-2 and have notched wins over No. 16 Arizona State, Arizona (who beat kU by 17 points right before Christmas) and 13-2 UNLV. They look like a very good bet to not only make the Tournament but possibly even win the Pac 10.

But despite the fact that oh hey, Cal might actually be pretty damn good, ESPNU's Adrian Branch recently labeled us one of the Big 12's biggest disappointments. Shit. The way Branch is talking about us you'd think we had lost to 5-8 UMass or something. LOL!!!!!!!!!!
