Ok, if your 'sit-tayyyyy' means Maryland Heights Hotshots for the Bowling Green/Mizzou PPV, and by 'we' I mean Hazelwood's Most Wanted and myself. I'm in StL for a quick get-the-hell-out-of-Vol-Country weekend, and Hotshots was thrown out as a possible beeramid construction zone.
The Hotshots in Bridgeton was tossed out via email. Then this conversation happened (names redacted to protect the innocent/handicapped).
i have two fun stories about that hotshots. the 'other' [REDACTED]who wrote for b-flex lives in kentucky (went to school at umsl w/ me) and one of the times he was in town, i suggested that we go there to eat. i told him on the phone 'oh, yeah, hotshots has pretty good food, lots of tv's, and they have hot waitresses. three staples of a good sports bar, right? so we get there and sit down, then all of a sudden the waitress comes by. i noticed the decent body first (obv.), then looked up and saw her dirty long curly blonde hair, buck teef, and glasses. and not the hot kind of glasses that some girls wear. so once we give her the order, as she's turning around, i look over at [REDACTED] and say, "well, two out of three ain't bad."
story two just happened a couple months ago. another friend of mine was in town and we went there for mostly the same reasons as the first story, but i also had a gift card. so we get there and see our waitress is pretty nice looking. then she starts setting drinks and shit on the table and i noticed she's missing a hand. a full-on jim abbott stump. totally killed any momentum she had plus it made the rest of the night a little weird.
but other than that - they have hot waitresses. hopefully. i think.
So, um, Maryland Heights Hotshots it is. Double high five! Feel free to say 'hello'. I'll be the guy with all the ladies on me because I own a black Blaine Gabbert jersey. Oh yeah!
Fastidious Hat and True Son will have weekend duties, so nobody knows what's truly going to happen here. If there are still four walls and a roof here at Mizzourahblog HQ, I'll be surprised.
