Illinois DT to start even after jail time, DUI conviction
Every situation is different, but it's very interesting that Coach Zook is allowing a player who had a DUI conviction and spent a month in jail this summer to start his very first game back on the team, whereas at MU we had Dalton kicked off the team after a DUI charge. The player is Josh Brent, a defensive tackle. Of course he was the second leading tackler last year, so I suppose that's part of the reason he deserved a second chance.
