Pregame Audio entrance suggestion
I was thinking about our new video/sound system and thought having them play the first part of "Blind" by Korn (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_hIojjA3A4) would be an awesome tune to get people jacked up. Then have the players run out after they say "are you ready?". What could be even better is if they turned off all the lights and just flashed the spotlights around the tunnel during each little guitar rift. Just thought that would be really cool. Thoughts?I don't know if the Mizter Lock actually has control over the pre-game video but please go with something other than Korn. But as for his idea about dimming the lights and flashing the strobe lights? YES. YES. YES. HELL YES.
I'm still working on a post about what the ideal entrance for the Tigers would be. But for now, here's my suggestion for run-out music: The D-Generation X entrance song "Are You Ready?" by Rage Against the Machine. A lot of our readers that don't like professional wrestling are probably rolling their eyes right now but listen to the song. You're telling me that wouldn't be kickass blaring through the sound system at Faurot? And it works out perfectly for the strobe light idea. It's totally original unlike the hundreds of teams that just go with AC/DC or Crazy Train. And it's a song by one of the coolest bands of the last 20 years. I know it's not the Fray but it'd still be pretty sweet. Please make this happen MU athletic department.
