Just a couple quick notes before Saturday. First off, the above pic comes from Rock M's Front Page Friday. Agents Smith and Smith is definitely the nickname to roll with for Aldon and Jacquies. I still like Coultergeist for Brian Coulter.

There's also some info over on Rock M about the parking and tailgating situation for tomorrow. Basically, nobody really knows what the hell to expect. We haven't really talked a lot about the changes being made this season with the Reactor lot being shutdown for tailgating. It sucks. I loved tailgating over there. But honestly, things were getting out of hand over there. Last year someone threw a beer bottle at a police horse for crying out loud. It was only a matter of time before someone got hurt. Still, not having a designated area for students to tailgate is probably going to create some confusion in of itself.

And one final thing in case you haven't heard, Mike Anderson will be courting Dallas, Tex. high school point guard Phil Pressey this weekend. Pressey is making his official visit this weekend and there will be an open hoops practice at 11:30 tomorrow afternoon at Mizzou Arena. So if you're so inclined, it'd be nice to show this kid that we aren't just a football school.

This Pressey kid seems pretty legit. According to this blog post by the Tribune's Steve Walentik, he's ranked No. 31 in ESPNU's top 100. He's being recruited by MU, Arizona, Baylor, LSU and UCLA. Also, his high school coach described him as a combination of TJ Ford and Chris Paul and if I remember correctly those two guys had pretty decent collegiate careers. I'm just hoping he turns out half as good as the last point guard we signed from the Dallas area.

Update @12:03 a.m.: davemacd has corrected me, apparently it is only a pick-up game that is open to the public. Opening up practice would be an NCAA violation. Clearly, if I was running a college basketball program we would have more NCAA infractions than Quin Snyder and Jerry Tarkanian combined.
