On suspicion of a DWI. Via the LJWorld.com. How about Brady's off-season? First you had his name being dropped in those kU football-basketball civil war stories, which raised a few eyebrows and now this. This has to be a calculated attempt by him to raise his street cred, no?
And I give this one three minutes before our kU readers flood the comments section of this post with reasons why there isn't a discipline issue at kU and why no public disciplinary action needs to be taken. Despite all evidence to the contrary.
Update @1:01 p.m.: And props to the University of kansas police for looking into that kU basketball-football Royal Rumble. I'm not saying anyone needs to be arrested or anything without personally knowing the facts, but if any normal group of people were involved in three incidents like this is less then 24 hours in the middle of a fucking college campus don't you think the police would be filing some sort of charge?
Update @9:38 a.m., Oct. 4: Bill Self has suspended Morningstar for kU's first semester games. This was the right move by Billy. I generally don't have a problem with coaches handling discipline matters privately. Nothing's worse than a coach who throws his kids under the bus. But at some point the public deserves to know how a coach is handling this stuff when this many issues emerge.
