RockChalkJBlog's (aka the AP's Joe Davis) Deleted Tweets to Chase Daniel FOUND E-mail

In regard to True Son's post on @RockChalkJBlog, aka Associated Press' Joe Davis, deleting his Twitter posts to Chase Daniel, here they are in all their full glory. Joe Davis deleted these posts, possibly assuming nobody would notice (mainly the Associated Press) after we called him out on it and revealed exactly who he was.

Just a shame that a quick Twitter search pops everything up, right? Man, attacking an athlete and inciting others to do the same must be exactly what the Associated Press is looking for, right Joe? If you have trouble reading the posts below, here is a larger view of them.

It is AMAZING that he won't just back off and apologize. If he'd have done that from the start we would have let up a long time ago and his reputation probably would have remained relatively intact. But instead he continues to refuse to admit any wrongdoing and repeatedly tries to cover himself in bizarre ways. Just cut your losses, dude!
how do we know he faked the hacking?

Trying to get a handle on that part of it...I suppose it's possible the account was legitimately hacked into because once someone changes the background/user photo etc., I think it changes the profile pic retroactively for all previous tweets...older tweets won't appear using the older photo, for example, making it hard to know exactly when it changed over (when being hacked into). Facebook does the same thing with wall posts and messages...if you've changed your profile pic on your Facebook account, all older messages created before the switch will show the current pic, not the older, original pic.

The other possibility is that if he's going through a client like Tweetie (and it looks like he is), it's possible he could be tweeting without knowledge that his profile pic/background/user information had changed because he's not actually visiting twitter.com to tweet...he's using a piece of downloaded software to do that instead. I know from experience that Tweetie takes a couple days to register a changed profile pic...maybe a reach there, but it's a possibility.

That's not to excuse him at all...the guy still has clearly violated plenty of journalistic ethical guidelines. All I'm saying is that I'm not sure we've seen any conclusive evidence suggesting he faked someone hacking into his account...though like you said in a different post, checking the IP log-in log should help shed some light on the problem (though that isn't perfect, either).
Well Steve...

You can click on this link for his latest confusing post. http://twitter.com/RockChalkJB...5462015836

Or you can do this one, then check his page. A kU post about Sherron Collins after he claims to be hacked by Mizzou fans. http://twitter.com/RockChalkJB...5443996968

Another flaw in this guy's system is exposed. Think a Mizzou fan would give a post dedicated to Sherron Collins? Yeah, obviously not hacked as Joe Davis claims.

I admire what you have done here. I like the part where you say you are doing this to give back but I would assume by all the comments that this is working for you as well.
