Joe Davis Still Hasn't Figured Out The Internet E-mail

Just received this email from @RockChalkJBlog, aka Joe Davis, an Associated Press writer, who has committed career suicide, yet doesn't seem to realize/care.

I believe we already have a suspect. It's someone with a user-name of 'Pathetic' and lives in Lawrence if that helps you out, Joe.

And maybe Joe or someone from the AP could explain this from the Associated Press' "News Values and Principals" section?

It means we avoid behavior or activities that create a conflict of interest and compromise our ability to report the news fairly and accurately, uninfluenced by any person or action.

Whoa! That sounds like a violation of AP's values expected of an Associated Press writer when Joe Davis decided to suggest his readers to "attack" Chase Daniel Monday.

And the night goes on...

**UPDATE 5:50a central**

For those of you coming from this story that has most everything incorrect in it, including not seeking out a comment from us (yet does for AP writer, Joe Davis? Hmmm.), here is proof that Joe's Twitter page, @RockChalkJBlog, was in fact, not hacked as he claims it was.

It's laughable that Joe would be corresponding as himself after 6p central time, then change his username/handle as seen in the following just minutes later to @mizzourahblogz...

...and then claimed to have been 'hacked' the entire time. Amazing the levels someone would go to just to avoid apologizing or admitting they were way off base. Well, I guess we'll just wait to hear back from The Associated Press to clarify their News Values and Principles section to see if they encourage their writers to incite readers to "attack" newsmakers, in this case, Chase Daniel.
