But before dismissing the success MU had on Saturday, consider these numbers posted previously by these mercurial Buffaloes:

 

This is the same Colorado team that ran for 147 yards and three touchdowns against Kansas two weeks ago. Knock off KU's three sacks in that game, and CU actually ran for 177 yards on Kansas. Against Missouri, the same Buffs offense finished with minus-14 yards on 24 carries. Tailback Rodney Stewart, the same dangerous runner who ran for 105 yards on West Virginia, owners of the No. 9 rush defense in the country, ran for just 3 yards on 10 carries against the Tigers.
