Oklahoma State 48 Colorado 13
So this is another Colorado national TV game? The Thursday nighter at that! This Buffs team quit weeks ago on Hawk, and I just don't see how the university can keep a coach where the team basically hasn't shown they've wanted to keep him. Okie State hasn't lived up to expectations, but still has some sort of a shot at winning the B12S, and an outside chance at a BCS game. Even without Dez and Kendall Hunter, Mike Gundy has coached his ass off this year. Okie State has too much to play for to lay a turd at home.
Texas Tech 28 Oklahoma 17
It's pretty pathetic that this game may be the marquee game of the weekend. Landry Jones hasn't lit it up on the road, and this one is in Lubbock. The Sooners D is missing more pieces than the buffet at Cici's Pizza. TT has their share of problems as well, mainly at QB. Who the hell is it going to be? All three guys can throw up Xbox stats. I'll go upset here, just for the sake of at least having a good game to watch.
Texas A&M 32 Baylor 17
A battle for a bowl. Yep, you read that correctly. Both teams have played better than what anyone thought, figuring that Baylor lost RG3. Jerrod Johnson is the most underrated QB in the conference. Could be a fun one to watch. The Sherminator has recruited well, and of course, I have a man-crush on Art Briles. Both teams are coming off of woodshedding curb stomps. ATM is at home, and that has to be the only reason to go with them right now.
Nebraska 17 Kansas State 6
Yeah, THIS is your North championship. With a loss, K-State doesn't even go bowling. That is how your B12N has been; a total cluster. K-State has looked fairly decent, but got destroyed last week against Mizzou. The Huskers don't have the offense that the Tigers have, but the Huskers do have better D-tackles, and that's where K-State likes to run, which is their only piece of offense. Just looking at it straight up- the Huskers have a strong D that should kill off K-State's O, and K-State's D is questionable, and the Huskers offense is, well, offensive. Nebraska should throw a few points on the board, and that should be enough.
Texas 52 kU 14
Is Mangino going to be in Austin Saturday? Maybe. Is your team collapsing all around you distracting? Yep. Is arguably the #1 team in the nation the team you want to dick around with on the road when you have all of this happening? Yeah, no. kU has shown nothing since being 5-0, and there is a chance they don't go bowling. Texas has too much talent to lay an egg.
