So any thoughts on the Turner Gill hire at KU?

If I were Pinkel, I might be a little afraid of what lies ahead on the recruiting battle field.

If you think Gary Pinkel of all people would have won a MAC Championship at Buffalo, then think that. You wanted to fire him 3 years ago right? Best teams in school history still lost 4 games a year.

Say what you want, but Missouri is the biggest loser in this sweepstakes. I'm positive that Pinkel isn't going to own Missouri/Kansas/Texas in the recruiting war with KU. I'm also positive that Gill will win at KU.

Because Turner Gill proved oh-so-much.

Won with another guy's players, then failed to take any sort of momentum from last year's squad into this year's.

And for the record- I never wanted Pinkel fired.
Just take your Nebraska bias out of the equation...

Coach A: 34-38 record as a MAC coach, took a team to two bowls, a few weeks in the Top 25, and a MAC title game. Showed drastic improvement for the final three years (3rd, 2nd, 1st place in MAC West).

Coach B: 20-30 record as a MAC coach, took a team to a bowl, and a MAC title game. In four years in MAC: 6th, 3rd, 1st, 5th place finishes.

You already know Coach B is Turner Gill. Coach A?
