There are currently some pretty sick Beat MODE items up for auction on eBay if you have a shitload of cash sitting around that you're looking to burn:img_7413

The current bid for this is sitting at $300 (plus $50 for shipping) with 10 bids already placed. Of course if you're of the philosophy that bidding is for pussies then you can just use the But It Now option for....ready for this?....$2,808.00!!! Oh and $50 for shipping of course. Even though the auctions on MUTigers.com, which are for game used shit, are going for outrageous prices I'm pretty sure you could pick up a Real Deal jersey, helmet and gloves for less than 2.8 grand.

I just read through all the fine print on mutigers auction site (all that i could find) for all the beast mode gear, no where does it say who gets the money...

Is it 100% for the Athletic Department, for the whole University, cbs, nike?
Is it split between different entities?

Now the ebay auction gear is pretty sweet. didn't even know this place existed http://www.nike.com/nikeos/p/s...blog=en_US but I am not a huge shoe collector either.

Hopefully Nike is smart enough to make more... it's not like Nike would lose on the deal.

All I know is being able to have access to this store NSW 21 Mercer would be great except I would always be broke. Here is the page all about the gear released.

So I gotta get my hands on one of the Beast Mode helmets and figured the Mizzou auction is the best way to do it. But watching the damn prices fly above 550 is just stupid.

One thing that I think is misleading is that I dont think that the gear is game used at all. It sounds like it is, but the way i read it is that it is just the authentic game day gear.

Bid now on this Nike Pro Combat Mizzou Football Helmet, which was worn in the State Farm Border Showdown vs. Kansas on November 28, 2009. (I think they mean it is the "same" as the one worn on the field") This helmet is certified authentic by the Mizzou equipment room as the same worn by the Tigers vs. KU. (And here it says that it is the "same" worn by the tigers) Matte Anthracite gray base and glossy black "M" inspired by the B-2 Stealth Bomber at Whiteman Air Force Base.

The other thing that makes me think it is not game used is no where does it say who wore the helmet during the game. I think some clown (me) would pay a ton more for a Danario helmet used to thrash kU for 200+ yards than for some Rolandis Woodland helmet.

Let me know if you think otherwise.

None of you A**hats better outbid me on this but I know this must be shared with the mizzourah world since there is no mention of it on here yet.

Probably one of the coolest collectors items I have seen in a long time and yes, i NEED this for my house.

It has a freaking beast mode helmet and shoes signed by HCGP and Jmac. Enough said. If you look at the other auctions, there is one for every team that had pro combat.

I repeat. I call dibs.
