No surprise, but Kendial Lawrence isn't redshirting. Looks like Justin Britt won't either according to Dave Matter's Friday Practice Report.

First, Pinkel confirmed that freshman tailback Kendial Lawrence will definitely play and not redshirt this season. Not a huge surprise considering Pinkel has said he needs to have four tailbacks ready to play this season — though No. 3 back Gilbert Moye has shown some promise of late, enough to where Lawrence might not command a significant number of touches.

A final decision hasn't been made, but Pinkel said MU is leaning heavily toward playing freshman left tackle Justin Britt ... in addition to freshman RT Jack Meiners. "One will play for sure and maybe both," Pinkel said. "I couldn’t be more pleased with two freshman offensive linemen. We kind of fell into those guys. I’ve been doing this for a long time, and to have two guys come in and play like that at this level, I’m just really pleased with their progress. That’s like a gift."

Also, Carl Gettis is now returning punts. Not shabby.
