Offensive tackle Nick Demien, the top ranked player in Missouri for 2010, says he will wear the Black and Gold. Via Dave Matter. Demien is rated by Rivals as the seventh best offensive tackle in the country and the No. 61 overall recruit.
As Matter points out, this would be third straight year that Gary Pinkel has nabbed the top recruit in the Show-Me state. You cannot overstate how critical that is to maintaining a successful program. I also love the fact that he's a big hogmolly (6-6 295). How stacked is the Tigers' O-line going to be the next several years? If the Tigers can get Chris Freeman on campus they'll have Demien, Freeman (6-8 350), Elvis Fisher (6-5 300, current sophomore), Dan Hoch (6-7 320, current sophomore) and Austin Wuebbels (6-4 305, current RS sophomore) anchoring their line. Me likey. Seriously, I dare anyone to try to penetrate that. They'll probably have about as much luck as Hat did with that broad he met at Harpo's last weekend.
