So much for those rumors of a heart condition ending his Mizzou career before it began (still has it under control with meds from what I pick up). Dave Matter's got a load of notes, including this tidbit.
Freshman offensive tackle Chris Freeman was not in attendance and is still working on qualifying academically through the NCAA Eligbility Center, Gary Pinkel confirmed. Pinkel compared Freeman’s situation to that of Aldon Smith, whose arrival to preseason camp last summer was delayed because of a similar hold-up. “So, we’ll wait and see how that works out,” Pinkel said. The company line is that Freeman’s absence is not related to a health issue as speculated elsewhere.
